About the Event
The Emily Carr String Quartet perform as part of Inuk throat singer Tanya Tagaq’s concert at the University of Victoria. The concert also features the Victoria Symphony and includes two pieces written by Tagaq: “Sivunittinni (“The Future Ones”), “Qiksaaktuq” (“Grief”) and “Suspension” written by the Victoria Symphony’s Composer in Residence, Rodney Sharman.
