About the Event

The Emily Carr String Quartet present the second concert of their “Portraits” series at Christ Church Cathedral. This concert celebrates the release of their latest album, “Portraits”, a collection of compositions that the ECSQ has commissioned. The concert program features: “Three Pieces for String Quartet” by Igor Stravinsky, Tobin Stokes’s “Feathers”(ECSQ Commission 2012) and Dimitri Shostakovich’s “String Quartet No.3”
