About the Event

The Emily Carr String Quartet present the third concert in their “Metamorphosis” concert series at Christ Church Cathedral. The concert features Dimitri Shostakovich’s String Quartet No.1, Op. 49, “The Evergreen” (mvt. 4, Root) by Caroline Shaw and Quartet No.15, Op. 144 by Shostakovich. The concert will also showcase photography by Frances Litman and is generously sponsored by the “Gail O’Riordan Climate and the Arts Legacy Fund.
